80s teen idol Paul Young is the latest artist to join the Jack Up The 80s line-up; he has been confirmed to play the Saturday afternoon of the event.
His career started out with stints in bands like Streetband and Q-Tips, but his solo career proved to be far more fruitful with a vast number of hits to his name.
Paul Young and his band will be bringing a true hit-fest to the Garlic Festival field, treating fans to hits like Love of the Common People, Come Back and Stay, Everytime You Go Away and the number 1 Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home).
He will be joining the previously announced Saturday headliner Leo Sayer, as well as From The Jam, Johnny Hates Jazz and Londonbeat. The Sunday sees performances from headliners Five Star, plus Bad Manners, Angie Brown, Phil Fearon & Galaxy, Owen Paul and Nathan Moore from Brother Beyond.
Tickets are still just £40 for the weekend, but this offer runs out on 29th February, so don’t miss out! Tickets can be purchased here: http://jackupthe80s.co.uk/tickets/
