Jack Up The 80s Returns For Volume 4!

Back by popular demand, Jack Up The 80s returns to the Garlic Festival Field, Isle of Wight, next weekend (13th and 14th August) for two days of chart-topping performances.

Jack Up The 80s was originally conceived as a one-off event, but gets bigger year-on-year, and this year is no exception.

Topping the bill is none other than Paul Young who will be treating fans to all of his big hits, backed up by a full live band. His 40-year solo career has seen him have 4 top 10 albums, with 7 top 10 singles, including Everytime You Go Away, Love Of The Common People and Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home). He will be performing as a special guest at the event on Saturday afternoon.

Performing later in the day will be headliner Leo Sayer who, although perhaps known more for his music in the 70s, has an equally good back catalogue of hits. Fans can expect a hit-filled set when he takes to the stage, including songs The Show Must Go On, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing and the number 1 hit When I Need You.

Closing the event will be festival favourite Bad Manners, who are performing at the festival as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations. Fronted by icon Buster Bloodvessel, the band are always guaranteed to get a crowd dancing to hits like Can Can and Special Brew.
